Social Activation / Work-related daytime occupation

In the Werkplaats 2 Workshop, people who are difficult to place in the job market are offered order and structure in the form of work, carrying out carpentry and assembly tasks for companies, during fixed hours. The output of the activities has to comply with qualitative and quantitative requirements.

The clients learn basic and social skills, based on the task skills model. They learn to cope with work pressures, authority and continuity. The objective is for them to gain insight into their capacities through the work-related daytime occupation and, if possible, work towards the prospect of regular or subsidised employment. The workshop clients continue to receive coaching after progressing to another work place.

The Werkplaats 2 Workshop is open from Monday to Thursday from 08.45 hours to 12.00 hours and from 12.30 hours to 15.45 hours. On Friday they are closed.
